World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH)
The World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) is a global healthcare community dedicated to capturing and disseminating the best evidence-based ideas and practices. WISH is an initiative of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) and is under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, its Chairperson.
The inaugural WISH Summit took place in Doha in 2013 and convened more than 1,000 global healthcare leaders. Through international summits and a range of ongoing initiatives, WISH is creating a global community of leading Innovators in healthcare policy, research, and industry.

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) was officially established by the Emiri Decision No13 of 2022, and it is the first national university that specializes in academic applied, technical, and professional education in the State of Qatar. Qatar Precision Health Institute
Qatar Precision Health Institute (QPHI) is a national center for research and implementation under Qatar Foundation.
Its primary focus is to enhance precision healthcare quality and value through comprehensive study of genomics and multi-omics. QPHI was conceptualized to leverage more than 10 years of valuable data collection, research, and ecosystem development accomplished by Qatar Biobank and Qatar Genome. The goal is to lead in preventing and curing health issues through personalized approaches, and consequently empower and enable precision health practices leading to healthy and vibrant communities.

Ministry of Public Health
The Ministry of Public Health in Qatar is the sole authority responsible for all issues related to public health affairs in the country, supervising the provision of healthcare services in the country, providing preventive and curative health services of international reputation and global appreciation, as well as spreading and raising health awareness. The Ministry is working on developing an integrated and comprehensive healthcare system, managed according to world-class standards, with accessible health services to the entire population in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 to ensure continuous care, develop frameworks to provide healthcare services to priority populations and introduce new tools and procedures to support patient care and transfer of knowledge among different healthcare systems.
The Ministry of Public Health and its affiliated institutions (Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary Healthcare Corporation and Naufar) have achieved significant milestones; Qatar has laid the foundations to a strong global health system, and Qatar's healthcare system has seen an important development and improvement in recent decades. Investment in new health facilities, services and techniques has contributed to the overall development of the country's health sector infrastructure with a view to meeting health needs of the steadily growing population in the country, what has helped also in the success of our health system in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, reducing its effects, and protecting society.
